Hello ... Is Anyone Out There?

Well, I just want to thank Hannah for setting this up and to everyone who has posted on this blog. It seems we're in a bit of a lull (and, of course, as time goes by we do all move on to different things) but I'll keep checking in every few weeks to see if there's anything buzzing here.

Spring is coming!

Speaking of Oedipus, why don't parents name their sons "Laius" anymore?

I played Ismene once in the burial at Thebes. John and Elizabeth Proctor were my parents :(

MAYBE THEY SHOULD'VE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE THEY BROUGHT THE WHIP OUT ALL THE TIME!

Hiya, Mousie!

Hiya, Jason!

Hiya, Linda!

I live fairly close to Thebes ... I mean, Salem ... so whenever you Newtonians and Brooklinians feel like coming up during the run of Oedipus, let me know.

Also, Apolonia is appearing in this show over the next two weekends. Anyone planning to go?

Wait a minute, Ismene! Your parents were Jocasta and Oedipus, and your paternal grandparents were Jocasta and Laius! Jocasta was her own mother-in-law! How crazy is THAT?
